My studio while small by some standards is well equipped. I refer to it as a project studio which seems to be the buzz word these days. I put a lot of work into the construction using sound transmission, diffusion and absorption techniques to try to get the best sounding room I could in the space available. I did the whole thing with floating walls, resilient channel, sheet block double doors etc I have a good selection of microphones including a good Neumann vocal mike as well as lots of outboard gear. I would like to thank Sandy Lamont [Lamont Audio], Jerry Meek, Auralex's Acoustics 101, and of course my son Vincent. All of which's help, advice and information played a major roll in the design and construction of my studio. On the top of my list of project is to completely redo this web site. As I'm able to find time to work on the site it should become more informative and useful. In the meantime click on the camera to the left and see a series of photos showing the construction of my new studio. I'm sure the photos would be of interest to someone considering building their own studio. If you would like some free advice and/or have questions of why or how I did something just drop me an email. For more information please visit my "MySpace" page click
